
In Waipiʻo, a man was killed in a shooting. According to the Honolulu Police Department on their Facebook page, the victim was 55-year-old Jonnaven Monalim. Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division Homicide Detail are investigating and ask anyone with information to come forward.
Last Friday, officers from the District 3 Crime Reduction Unit found a shooting in the Waipiʻo community around 11:15 p.m., as reported by Hoodline. The Honolulu Police and the Medical Examiner’s office are investigating, and the public can provide tips through CrimeStoppers at (808) 955-8300 or the P3 Tips app.
The details of the shooting, including whether it was targeted or random, are not yet known. People with information can also call 911 to help with the investigation into the death of Jonnaven Monalim.
