A man in a black hooded robe robbed a Dollar General at gunpoint on Halloween night, San Antonio police said. He reportedly pulled a handgun from his waistband, demanded cash, and fled with money after a second employee emptied a register and handed it over. The holdup happened around 10 p.m. at a northeast-side store on the 5400 block of Randolph Boulevard.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and canvassing nearby for witnesses, according to KENS5. Police said the suspect first demanded money from a register and the safe, but when an employee couldn’t access them, he turned to a second register and got cash.
