At approximately 7:50 a.m. on November 1, HPD patrol officers were summoned to the scene in response to a call to meet firefighters. When they arrived, they discovered an unresponsive child. The Houston Fire Department paramedics rushed her to an nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The HPD Homicide Division, including Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective M.
