A suspect was apprehended earlier this week after causing property damage at a local business on FM 2920. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 responded to an alarm call on Sunday, revealing a shattered window resulting from a rock thrown through it, with damages estimated at $2,000. A male suspect was later identified and detained in connection to the incident.
Footage from the scene showed an individual dressed in a black ski mask, white shirt, and black shorts. The sergeant on duty at the time managed to quickly locate a person to closely match what was described on the surveillance, who was found on Holzwarth Road. The detained male was Maximo Carbajal, who reportedly admitted to committing the act of vandalism, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook page.
Previous records show Carbajal had been released on a modest $100.00 bond for an attempted burglary of a vehicle just days before, on November 5. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 pointed out the swift re-arrest of the individual. "Maximo Carbajal was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Criminal Mischief. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 3," said Constable Mark Herman concerning the case.
