A slow-moving weather front caused scattered showers in Houston this morning, but rain is expected to decrease as the front moves offshore, with highs in the low to mid 80s. Tonight, temperatures will be in the 60s. On Sunday, "Sunday turns warmer again as the front lifts north as a warm front," bringing muggy air, slightly higher temperatures, mostly dry conditions, and increasing clouds in the evening, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s, as per CW39.
A change in weather is expected starting Monday as a stronger disturbance and cold front move into the region, bringing rain and storms. Monday’s forecast calls for a 50 percent chance of precipitation, highs near 82 degrees, and gusts up to 20 mph. "That means minor street flooding or ponding is a possibility if a downpour moves over a flood-prone spot," especially in low-lying areas, as mentioned by CW39. After the front passes, daytime temperatures will drop into the 60s with nighttime lows in the 40s. "Right now, Thanksgiving is trending cool and dry," with sunny skies and a high near 64 degrees.
