
On Tuesday, Casey Lee and Adam Henry were arrested in the Houston area for allegedly street racing on Spring Cypress Road. Deputies reported the drivers were seen stopping in the middle of the road before aggressively accelerating to compete in a speed contest, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Both were charged with Racing on a Highway and had their bonds set at $100 each out of County Court 14. The incident serves as a reminder that authorities are actively enforcing laws against reckless driving and street racing, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, the “C4 NOW” mobile app provides live updates on local crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic incidents. Lee and Henry were arrested for illegal street racing. The office said racing should take place on tracks, not public roads.
