
On Wednesday around 1:30 a.m., a Houston convenience store clerk was shot multiple times by two masked assailants while closing the store on Scott Street. The attackers demanded his belongings and fled with nearly $1,500 and several IDs, according to KHOU.
The clerk tried to escape after the first shot but was shot several more times during a struggle over his bag. He was taken to a local hospital for urgent treatment, and the suspects remain at large.
Houston police are investigating a robbery near Scott Street and Barberry Drive, where a store clerk was shot multiple times while closing the store. Responders provided first aid until emergency services arrived, but the clerk’s current condition has not been confirmed. Authorities said, "Anyone with information is asked to call HPD Robbery Division," as reported by Fox 26 Houston.
