On Wednesday around 1:30 a.m., a Houston convenience store clerk was shot multiple times by two masked assailants while closing the store on Scott Street. The attackers demanded his belongings and fled with nearly $1,500 and several IDs, according to KHOU.
The clerk tried to escape after the first shot but was shot several more times during a struggle over his bag. He was taken to a local hospital for urgent treatment, and the suspects remain at large.
Houston police are investigating a robbery near Scott Street and Barberry Drive, where a store clerk was shot multiple times while closing the store.
