
Two men were arrested at a Houston-area Walmart on Monday for allegedly stealing boots, beer, and other items totaling over $144. Authorities identified the suspects as Yoel Quintana and Angel Mompeller Torres, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Yoel Quintana and Angel Mompeller Torres were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft," as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4, with their bond set at $100 each. One suspect reportedly tried to hide his stolen boots by switching them with sandals while the other took beer and additional merchandise.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, Quintana and Torres were arrested for alleged theft. The post also promoted their mobile app, "C4 NOW," which provides real-time updates on local crimes and public safety events. The update shows that crimes are recorded and shared with the community even after suspects are in custody.
