A dense fog advisory is in effect for Houston until 9 a.m. CW39 reports that visibility has dropped to a quarter mile or less in some areas. Drivers are advised to slow down, use headlights, and keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
Dense fog has spread from Houston’s roads to Galveston Bay, causing low visibility for drivers and boaters. Navigators are urged to rely on radar, compasses, fog signals, and running lights to ensure safe travel until conditions clear.
The fog is expected to lift later in the day, bringing partly sunny to sunny skies with a high near 81°F. Clear and warm weather will continue through the weekend, with highs in the mid-80s and sunshine lasting into Veterans Day, according to the National Weather Service.
