Houston police are intensifying their search for a suspect in the fatal shooting of 60-year-old George Beasley, which occurred on May 5 at an apartment complex on 9560 Deering Drive. The suspect, known only as Mario, is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s, possibly homeless, and often seen around Hillcroft Avenue, according to the City of Houston.
After the shooting, paramedics rushed Beasley to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on May 6, and HPD released surveillance photos of the suspect. Authorities are asking the public for assistance in locating Mario to help advance the investigation, as reported by the City of Houston.
