
Houston authorities are currently seeking assistance from the community in identifying a suspect linked to a double homicide that took place last Friday. According to the City of Houston, the violent episode left Rafael Xe Rax, aged 30, and Jose Cuz Shol, aged 21, fatally wounded at 6347 Windswept Lane around 7:35 p.m.
Responding to an assault call, HPD patrol officers discovered the two males, one at the scene and another transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. They're looking for a Hispanic male, aged 20-30, caught on surveillance photos attached to their news release. Walking away from the scene, a suspect has been believed to be possibly involved, as reported by the City of Houston.
Local officials are encouraging anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect to come forward. "HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Gardner and Detective M. Providence reported: further investigation and evidence developed a possible suspect, seen walking away from the scene," highlighted the City of Houston news release.
