Houston restaurants offering Thanksgiving dining include B&B Butchers, serving a prix-fixe menu alongside its regular dinner menu from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Mastro’s Restaurant, offering its full dinner menu until 9 p.m. The Capital Grille will serve a Thanksgiving dinner featuring slow-roasted turkey and other holiday dishes. Due to expected demand, restaurants recommend confirming hours and making reservations in advance. Each establishment on KHOU’s list provides its own hours and special holiday menus.
Some retailers remain open on Thanksgiving for last-minute grocery needs, including wine or additional sides, according to a report by ABC13. Grocery stores such as Whole Foods Market and HEB will operate during holiday hours, while others, including Albertsons and Kroger, will have shorter schedules. HEB will open at 6 a.m. and close at noon.
Some major retailers will open on Thanksgiving, while others will remain closed. Dollar General will operate until 10 p.m., whereas Walmart and Costco will not open on the holiday.
