
A suspect has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal shooting that occurred in Houston on Monday night. The incident, which claimed the life of 34-year-old Brenton Griffin, took place at 4640 Sunflower Street around 9:25 p.m., as reported by the City of Houston News.
Roxanne Albert, 60, has been named as the suspect and is now facing murder charges in the 182nd Criminal District Court; alongside the charges, a booking photo of Albert was released, HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Camacho and A. Hernandez arrived on the scene after patrol officers responded to a shooting where they found Griffin with a gunshot wound which Houston Fire Department paramedics attempted to treat before transporting him to a local hospital where he was ultimately pronounced dead, according to the City of Houston.
Investigations led by the HPD Homicide Division implicated Roxanne Albert as the suspect in question, and after consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Albert was charged for her involvement in the shooting.
