Jack White, a Detroit native and 12-time GRAMMY winner, will perform during the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving Day halftime show. The performance is scheduled for November 27 as the Lions face the Green Bay Packers, according to ClickOnDetroit.
Eminem will take part in the Thanksgiving Day show, working with Paul Rosenberg to produce the event through 2027. The two previously worked on the Michigan Central Station concert last summer. Their involvement has drawn local attention as the team prepares for the holiday halftime performance. WXYZ also noted the team’s partnership with Feeding America, which encourages viewers to donate to help address holiday hunger.
The Lions organization is preparing for a major Thanksgiving event, with team president Rod Wood saying, "We're thrilled to be working with Marshall and Paul, who are two of the most accomplished and respected names in the music industry, not to mention longtime Lions fans," as per FOX 2 Detroit. The show will include a performance by Jack White, who was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and a national anthem performance by Detroit gospel singer CeCe Winans. The game will air nationally at 1 p.m. on FOX, with Eminem and Paul Rosenberg overseeing production.
