A Great Dane was found on the side of a road in Jacksonville and later died from its injuries. The dog, named Miracle by temporary caretakers, received medical attention from Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS). Authorities stated they are determined "to find the person or people who left Miracle in this condition," in a recent social media post.
The announcement has prompted community involvement, with authorities urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. A Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Facebook post stated, "We will not tolerate anyone harming an innocent life like this."
