The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit conducted interviews with witnesses and reviewed video surveillance footage. During a search warrant executed by investigators and the JSO SWAT Team, Rentfrow’s home was searched, leading to the development of key leads.

After collecting evidence and conducting interviews, authorities arrested Rentfrow without incident. Rentfrow is currently being held at the John E. Goode Pretrial Detention Facility in Duval County.
