
A juvenile was the victim of a stabbing incident inside Towson Town Center. As reported by FOX Baltimore, the assault took place last night, triggering a police response to the popular shopping mall. Baltimore County Police responded at around 8 p.m. to the scene, where they discovered the injured party, who suffered a non-life-threatening wound to their upper body. The victim was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
In the aftermath of the stabbing, authorities were able to quickly locate and arrest four juveniles believed to have been associated with the crime. The preliminary investigation suggested that a robbery may have been the motive behind the assault.
The incident has raised renewed concerns surrounding juvenile crime in the Baltimore area, with arrests in such cases having seen a significant rise between 2023 and 2024 – an increase of 146% according to Baltimore State's Attorney Ivan Bates, as noted in an interview reported by CBS News.
This recent stabbing follows a pattern of violence in Towson, with police data showing an uptick in the number of assault victims, climbing to 537 in 2024. The current year has witnessed 379 reported assaults so far within the 21286 area. Theft offenses have notably become the most reported crime in Towson, accounting for 729 victims in 2025.
