In Knightdale, North Carolina, water will be temporarily turned off at select park amenities to prevent freezing damage during the winter. This affects facilities at Knightdale Station Park and Mingo Creek Dog Park, as reported by the Town of Knightdale.
"This shutoff will ONLY affect water fountains and pet water bowls; restrooms will still be usable." The shutdown, expected to last through March 2026, includes water fountains and pet bowls at playgrounds, the dog parks, soccer fields, and the amphitheater, as stated by the Town of Knightdale.
According to the Town of Knightdale on their Facebook page, the Public Works department will temporarily close some park amenities for maintenance during the winter. Officials have shared information about the affected areas and ask residents to note, "We apologize for the inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding." The closures are part of routine work to maintain the town’s parks.
