Lake Havasu City Police have reported success in apprehending a suspect in an attempted homicide that occurred on Halloween night. The incident, which took place on the 100 block of Park Avenue around the stroke of midnight, resulted in one individual being shot in the leg. The victim, whose name has not been released, initially confronted someone about damage to a vehicle earlier in the evening, according to a statement on the Lake Havasu City website. A male subject from a crowd subsequently opened fire, then fled the scene.
After an urgent response by local law enforcement, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital. The wounds were severe enough to warrant a transfer to a Phoenix-area hospital for specialized attention. Not long after, the Lake Havasu City Police Department's Criminal Investigations Unit, along with the Street Crimes Unit, managed to identify the alleged shooter as 20-year-old Tony Davis, a local resident. Davis was ultimately located and apprehended on November 1 without incident at a residence in the 2800 block of Jamaica Boulevard South.
Complicating matters further, during Davis's arrest, the authorities also detained two other individuals. Nineteen-year-old Brooklyn Fultz and 18-year-old Hailee Tamborrino, both from Lake Havasu City, allegedly attempted to hinder the prosecution. Davis has been charged with a string of felonies, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct involving weapons, weapons misconduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Following his initial court appearance, he was held on a $1,000,000 secured bond.
Similarly, Tamborrino finds herself facing multiple charges. Among them are hindering prosecution, the possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and carrying a deadly weapon while underage. Fultz's charges mirror Tamborrino's, with the exception of the deadly weapon and drug charges. Each was held on a $4,000 secured bond after their initial court appearances. As of now, all three individuals are in the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
