A 67-year-old woman was reportedly sexually assaulted at her home on the 400 block of Huisache Street in Lake Jackson last Saturday. The Lake Jackson Police Department responded to the incident early that morning. The woman was injured and taken to the hospital for examination, according to Click2Houston.
Authorities are investigating an attack near Huisache Street, Pecan Lane, and Oak Drive in Lake Jackson, where a woman was found with visible injuries and taken to CHI St. Luke’s Brazosport Emergency Room for treatment and a forensic exam. Officials said there does not appear to be an ongoing threat to the public.
"Detectives are now working to identify everyone involved and are actively processing evidence with the victim’s cooperation," stated Lake Jackson police, as reported by KHOU. Details on suspects and evidence remain limited, and updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
