The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released new surveillance footage this week, offering a closer look at the suspect behind a casino robbery last Thursday. According to a report by FOX5 Vegas, officials provided details of the incident, which took place at a Summerlin casino, around 10:30 p.m., where the man, dressed in disguise as a security guard, was armed with an AR-style rifle.
The suspect, who remains unidentified, was seen in the video wearing a ballistic helmet, blue sunglasses, a black face mask, and a blue and yellow security jacket, according to the video released by officials. He allegedly threatened the cashier at the cage, demanding money, and after receiving an undisclosed amount, the suspect fled the scene. KTNV reports that a security guard can be seen backing away on the footage after spotting the suspect’s weapon.
