The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes a wave of community spirit in Denton County. Local first responders are harnessing this yuletide energy to ensure every child feels the joy of the season. The Lewisville Police Department, in coordination with neighboring Fire and Police Departments and 5 Star Ford in Lewisville, announced its involvement in the Denton County First Responder Toy Drive as part of efforts to support the LISD Angel Tree program.
According to a social media post from the Lewisville Police Department, they have placed toy collection boxes at several locations to facilitate donations. These boxes can be found in the foyers of all participating stations and in the lobby of the Tittle McFadden Public Safety Center. People are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys suitable for children aged 1-18. Donations will be accepted until the cutoff date of Thursday, December 4.
