Residents of Lewisville are set for some disruption next week, as the City has announced alleyway repair works that will impact the community of S. Hampton Ct. and Broken Sword Dr. According to a post on the official Facebook page of Lewisville City Hall, the planned work is scheduled to commence next Monday, November 17, with an expected completion date of November 20, contingent upon the weather's mercy.
It's expected that despite the construction, local homeowners won’t be grappling with blocked driveways, the work zone might still be a bit of a hazard, given the heavy equipment in play, so city officials are urging folks to be extra careful threading through the operative alleys in question. "Due to the use of heavy equipment, please use caution when traveling through the area," Lewisville City Hall advised, conveying sensitivity to the inconvenience while balancing the necessity of upkeep.
This short-term inconvenience, the Lewisville City Hall assures, is for long-term gains in infrastructure reliability, and it advises any resident with questions or concerns to reach out directly. Addressing potential queries and concerns, they’ve made available a contact line, suggesting, “For questions, please contact the Street Division at 972.219.3510,” ensuring that lines of communication are kept as open as the driveways remain.
