Līhu‘e residents and visitors should plan: a portion of Kress Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Today, for work by the Department of Public Works, weather permitting.
According to a County of Kauai press release, the closure is for road striping repairs within the County right-of-way.
Residents and workers in the area should plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Parking will be prohibited in the work zones during the closure, and flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.
