The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has successfully wrapped up a sweeping burglary probe with a series of arrests. Suspects in custody are believed to be involved in a string of unsavory activities across Nevada – burglaries, vehicle thefts, property thefts, illegal possession of trailers, and the manipulation of vehicle identification numbers.
After several months on the hunt, the investigation, which sprawled over various counties and multiple cities, has borne fruit, and consequently, a cache of stolen goods and vehicles have been retrieved. Sheriff Kerry Lee Foremaster highlighted, and rightly so, the vital role the community played in the investigation. “Sheriff Foremaster would like to thank the community members who assisted with the investigation by remaining vigilant and providing surveillance footage and information,” reads a statement from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office's social media post.
While the suspects remain alleged until proven guilty, their possible links to other ongoing theft cases add significance to the investigation. Sheriff Foremaster and his team are working to uncover the full scope of the burglary network across Nevada.
