With the newly adopted provisions, beginning immediately, there's now an option for individuals to switch dental benefit program managers (DBPMs) up to two times in a calendar year. This is a significant shift from the previous regulations, where getting stuck with inadequate or unsatisfactory dental care was a real risk; if change was desired and needed, it was often a difficult process.
