A 50-year-old man was found fatally shot inside a parked car Friday afternoon in northwest Houston, according to police. The vehicle was in a shopping-center lot in Spring Branch near Kempwood Drive and Blalock Road, as reported by the City of Houston.
According to City of Houston Newsroom, patrol officers responded to a shooting at 3107 Blalock Road around 4 p.m. Friday and found a man with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, and officials identified him as Gerardo Villalobos Salgado, 50. HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and L. Brooks are handling the case.
The discovery drew local crews to the Kempwood and Blalock intersection, where on‑scene video showed detectives processing the vehicle and crime tape around the lot, as reported by Hoodline.
