The suspect, identified as 35-year-old John Navarro, now faces charges that include possessing an explosive device, and arson, according to records obtained by 8 News Now.
Officials reported that two men were seen approaching Piero's Italian Cuisine, situated near Paradise Road and Convention Center Drive, donning all black attire. One of the suspects arrived at the scene on a scooter, deploying an improvised explosive device in front of the establishment. The device burned for several minutes before igniting, causing some disarray to the building; no reports of injuries surfaced, however. The details surrounding how authorities pinpointed Navarro as a suspect have not been made public as of yet, also, the search for the second participant in the incident remains ongoing.
