According to WPXI, the incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on the 900 block of Liberty Avenue. The victim, who had a stab wound to his upper shoulder, was conscious and alert while interacting with the first responders. Despite his condition, the man was labeled as uncooperative and provided limited information on the whereabouts of the crime scene, suggesting it may have been near Exchange Way and Ninth Street, a location where authorities found no immediate evidence of the reported crime.
Officials from Pittsburgh Public Safety are still piecing together the circumstances of the stabbing, with detectives currently reviewing video footage to ascertain the precise location of the incident and identify possible suspects. No arrests have been announced as of earlier this morning, as per a report from WTAE.
