Following a recent traffic accident in the 8000 block of FM 2920, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the scene on Tuesday and identified one of the involved drivers, Akinyiwola Fashola. A routine records check revealed that Fashola had multiple active warrants. The investigation also included reports of violent allegations connected to the incident.
A records check revealed that Fashola was wanted on multiple warrants, according to a social media post by Constable Mark Herman. The warrants included a felony warrant for assault on a pregnant person and another for assault impeding breath, in addition to three Class C warrants. Deputies arrested Fashola at the scene to address the outstanding legal matters.
Akinyiwola Fashola was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on the outstanding warrants, with his bond set at $100,000 through the 262nd District Court, Herman said. The constable regularly provides updates on public safety incidents, including crimes and traffic accidents.
