
Mayor Muriel Bowser will participate in the Food & Friends Thanksgiving Day Drive today, marking the start of the holiday season. The event will take place at 219 Riggs Road NE, accessible via the Fort Totten Metro station or the nearby bikeshare at 3rd St and Riggs Rd NE. According to the Office of the Governor, after the Thanksgiving Day Drive, Mayor Bowser’s public schedule remains open for the rest of the weekend, with no events listed from Friday through next Sunday. For those unable to attend the Thursday event in person, the DC Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment will provide a live stream.
