
Midday gunfire on a southwest Dallas roadway left a 33-year-old man dead on Monday, after he was found wounded on Clark Road and rushed to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Detectives say the investigation is still active as they work to piece together what led up to the shooting.
Where the shooting happened
Officers were dispatched around 1:25 p.m. to the 9600 block of Clark Road near Mountain Creek Parkway, according to The Dallas Morning News. First responders found the wounded man at the scene before he was transported to a hospital.
Victim identified; case logged
Police identified the victim as 33-year-old Brandon Brown and recorded the case under number 169064-2025, as reported by MyTexasDaily. Investigators have not released any suspect description and say they are still collecting evidence and speaking with potential witnesses.
