Further, accompanied by patchy fog setting in post-midnight, the skies will stay mostly cloudy while temperatures drop to a low around 44. It is during this transitional period that the wind will calm, adding a chill to the nighttime air. On Tuesday, residents should be prepared for precarious fluctuations with chances of rain both before noon and in the late hours of the afternoon. This could affect visibility and travel as fog persists before 11 am under mostly cloudy conditions, and the temperature peaks at a mild 51 degrees.
In their Hazardous Weather Outlook, the NWS also notes that areas of fog developing tonight may become dense and pose visibility concerns. As the week progresses, Milwaukeeans may need to look out for light accumulating snow by Saturday, which the National Weather Service hinted at as a possibility in their recent forecasts.
The outlook for the subsequent days, leading up to and including Thanksgiving Day, anticipates brisk weather, including a chance of rain and snow on Wednesday with high winds gusting as high as 45 mph, while Thanksgiving itself will offer a brief respite with partly sunny skies, though the temperatures are expected to remain low, as high winds continue to sweep through the region.
