The parent's message, posted on the department's Facebook page, expresses heartfelt gratitude for Sergeant Maness's enduring presence and service, particularly his role in directing traffic at Bain Elementary.
"I wanted to send a letter of recognition in honor of officer Maness. He does a phenomenal job directing traffic at Bain elementary. We also see him regularly at our Preschool, Arlington Church," the community member said. The praise didn't end there, with the parent adding, "So, many kuddos and thanks to him for serving our community and making Mint Hill a safe and great place to live!"
