Colton Buskill, the 11-year-old missing child from Middleburg, has been found safe. Authorities thanked the community for their support and patience during the search, the Clay County Sheriff's Office announced in a recent social media post.
Before Colton Buskill was found, local authorities had been actively searching the area. Residents near Primrose Circle, County Road 215, Alligator Avenue, and Blanding Blvd were asked to review their video surveillance for any sightings of the boy. In a 4:57 pm update yesterday, the Clay County Sheriff's Office emphasized the need to let K9 units work without interference, noting that extra scents could affect the dogs’ tracking. The office urged the public to leave the search to professionals to ensure it was conducted effectively.
The 11-year-old boy was last seen in the Primrose Circle area of Middleburg, wearing a long-sleeve Christmas shirt with gray and red sleeves, shorts, and white tennis shoes. He has dark blonde hair, blue eyes, stands about 4 feet tall, and weighs around 55 pounds. At the time, he was carrying a fishing pole, suggesting he had gone out for a recreational activity.
