The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is nearing completion of its I-70 STL Conceptual Study and is seeking public input. A meeting will be held on November 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bridgeton Recreation Center, where MoDOT officials and consultants will discuss the study’s findings. According to MoDOT, the session will follow an open-house format, allowing attendees to visit at any time during the two-hour window to review plans and share feedback.
The study examines two sections of I-70 in St. Louis County, extending from the Missouri River to just north of I-170. The first section, reaching to just west of U.S. Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard), includes several projects already funded under the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The second section, from just west of U.S. Route 67 to I-170, currently has no funded projects. During the meeting, attendees will be able to review proposed alternatives and learn more about potential improvements for these segments of the interstate.
For additional information about the meeting and its location, residents can visit MoDOT’s website. While no formal presentation is scheduled, MoDOT staff will be available to answer questions, discuss the study, and gather public feedback. The open house provides an opportunity for community members to share input and participate in shaping future improvements to the I-70 corridor.
