Residents of a Mount Dora neighborhood near downtown reported hearing multiple gunshots last night. According to ClickOrlando, the incident caused a significant response from both the Mount Dora Police and Lake County sheriff's deputies, who swiftly converged on the intersection of North Clayton Street and East Jackson Avenue.
Further details were limited, but the City of Mount Dora spokesperson Misty Sommer provided some insights to Inside Lake. "Around 8 p.m., MDPD responded to the area and found multiple shell casings," Sommer said.
