The Metropolitan Police Department has made arrests in the 2024 homicide of 31-year-old Malik Gliss, who was found fatally shot on January 25, 2024, inside an apartment on the 3500 block of 6th Street. More than a year after the incident, three suspects were taken into custody by MPD’s Fugitive Unit, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspects are 20-year-old Steven Metts, 22-year-old Keondre Carroll, and 21-year-old Jovontae Wallace. They were charged with First-Degree Murder While Armed and transported to the DC Jail under a DC Superior Court booking order.
The investigation into Malik Gliss’s death advanced with booking orders issued for three men now charged in the case. After being charged, they were returned to the custody of the DC Department of Corrections. The arrests were made through a joint effort by the MPD’s Fugitive Unit and other law enforcement partners. The suspects are awaiting further court proceedings, as stated by the Metropolitan Police Department.
