Residents and visitors in Muskego are bracing for a heartfelt tradition as St. Leonard gears up to host its 14th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thanksgiving Day. The event, a staple of the holiday's festivities, is expected to bring together the community in a celebratory display of athleticism and cheer.
The Muskego Police Department took to social media to inform the public about the consequential road closures associated with the event. According to their post, Pioneer Drive will be shut down from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 10:30 a.m. to accommodate the flurry of runners and walkers. "Local traffic only will be allowed to travel on Pioneer Drive between Janesville Road and Kristen Drive," the department advised. In preparation for the 5K, barricades along with access control personnel will be placed in the Meadow Green Subdivision to ensure that only residents can navigate through their neighborhood.
