Queens may experience gusty winds up to 32 mph today, with showers possible Saturday morning before skies gradually clear over the weekend. Similar conditions are expected across other boroughs, including the Bronx and Staten Island, where rain is likely Sunday after 1 p.m. with highs in the low 60s. Brooklyn will have comparable conditions, with an 80% chance of rain this evening.
A Frost Advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. this morning for parts of the region, according to the Hazardous Weather Outlook. No hazardous weather meeting NWS warning criteria is expected from Saturday through Thursday. Outer boroughs, including Staten Island and the Bronx, are under the frost advisory this morning, which is expected to lift as the day goes on.
The week ahead is expected to have consistent weather. All boroughs have a 40% chance of showers Monday before 1 p.m., followed by sunny skies on Veterans Day. Similar conditions are forecast through Thursday, with partly cloudy evenings and lows in the mid-30s. In the Bronx, In the Bronx, Monday night’s low is forecast around 34°F, with frost advisories earlier in the day, primarily in the outer boroughs.
