
Local authorities are intensifying their search for two teenagers linked to a series of robberies in the vicinity of the 63rd Precinct. The NYPD Crimestoppers has released details on two incidents that occurred on the evening of November 7, involving young male victims who were confronted and robbed by the suspects. The first incident took place at around 6:00 P.M. in front of 1851 East 48th Street, where an 11-year-old boy was threatened and had his bookbag forcibly taken by the pair. Minutes later, at approximately 6:25 P.M., a second robbery was reported in front 1709 Flatbush Avenue, where a 14-year-old boy was pinned against a gate and compelled to surrender his belongings, including his bookbag and headphones.
In an effort to quickly apprehend the suspects, the NYPD is reaching out to the community for assistance. According to the police description, the suspects are believed to be males, around 16 to 18 years of age. The NYPD Crimestoppers unit has distributed a social media post containing images of the individuals of interest. In a move to fully engage with the public, they are urging anyone with information to come forward and provide help by directly messaging @nypdtips or calling the hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
