A 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were shot behind an apartment building in West Concourse, according to the NYPD. Police say officers responding to a 911 call for a person shot found the woman with a gunshot wound to her left leg behind 575 Exterior Street, while the man had been taken to a hospital separately with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder.
The woman was transported by EMS to Lincoln Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, per the NYPD. As reported by News 12 Bronx, the 19-year-old man had also been taken to Lincoln Hospital by private means and was likewise in stable condition. No arrests had been made as of the report, and the investigation remains ongoing.
