In a separate report by WFTV, a large outdoor fire was contained on Friday night at 51 E Landstreet Road. The fire consisted of a 200-foot by 200-foot pile of trash and scrap metal, which firefighters tackled, preventing it from reaching nearby buildings or causing any injuries.
The persistent efforts of Orange County Fire Rescue ensured that the large outdoor fire did not prompt any road closures or necessitate evacuations, a relief to those in the adjacent residential areas.
