The trial, originally scheduled to begin on November 10, is now set for December 8 following a continuance granted by the judge.
After her arrest on October 23 over purported violations related to bond conditions, Severance Lopez's bond was revoked, news confirmed by ClickOrlando. Prosecutors expect to present both recorded jail calls and financial records during the trial as evidence. Despite rejecting the plea deal, it was set by the judge while she waits in jail without the option of bond.
Alongside these developments, her estranged husband, Marcos Lopez, is waiting for his trial on racketeering charges, informing public perception of a saga entangled with allegations of misuse of power and personal deceit.
