Overnight gunfire rattled the Pleasant Grove neighborhood of southeast Dallas today, leaving one person wounded while police tried to piece together what happened.
Dallas police said officers were called to the 300 block of Crenshaw Drive at about 2:30 a.m., where they found a person suffering from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue took the victim to a hospital, and officers said the person’s condition was still unknown as the investigation continued.
According to WFAA, responding officers stayed on the scene into the early morning while detectives collected evidence and canvassed the area for witnesses. Police did not immediately announce any arrests connected to the shooting.
