
Baltimore County Police are diligently piecing together the events that led to a tragic shooting in Owings Mills, which saw a young woman lose her life and a man severely wounded.
According to Fox Baltimore, the officers were called to the scene in the 200 block of Pittston Circle in the early hours of Sunday, at around 1:50 a.m. Upon arrival, the police discovered two victims, Chariyah Woods, 24, and an unidentified man, both apparently having been shot.
The pair was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. Despite the hospital's efforts to save both individuals, Woods succumbed to her injuries. To try to fully understand the gravity of the situation, her body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy, as reported by WMAR-2 News.
Details regarding the man's current condition have not been disclosed as of this time.
