
Parker County Emergency Services District 1 recently provided crucial support to the Weatherford Fire Department and ESD 3 in responding to a gas compressor fire. The incident, which unfolded near Pearson Ranch Rd, was handled through strategic collaboration between the fire service professionals and facility operators, according to the Parker County Emergency Services District 1.
According to the social media post by ESD 1, firefighters were able to "access the valves necessary to isolate the fuel source and then extinguish the fire," ensuring the situation was under control. The teams from ESD 1, inclusive of Engines 34, 54, Truck 35, Tanker 34, Battalion 102, Chiefs 102, and 100, were all active participants in addressing the hazardous blaze.
The fire drew attention to the potential dangers associated with gas compressors and the importance of emergency preparedness in such scenarios. Facility representatives played a key role by working in tandem with the firefighting teams to mitigate risks and effectively manage the incident.
A comprehensive list of units that responded was shared, confirming the breadth of resources mobilized to secure the area.
