The Pasco Sheriff's Office Agriculture Unit is on the lookout for the owner of three potbelly pigs found wandering in Hudson. These pigs were discovered yesterday around 11 a.m. in the vicinity of Chicago Ave. and Andy Dr., and the sheriff's office is reaching out to reunite them with their owner.
The Sheriff's office has made a public appeal Tuesday through their Community News section asking for someone to step forward with proof of ownership. The law enforcement agency is asking that anyone with information to contact them at their non-emergency line.
The potbelly pigs are the latest to prompt a search for their owner, who now has the opportunity to reclaim their wandering livestock by calling 727-847-8102, option 7. A proof of ownership is being requested to ensure the pigs are returned to their rightful home. If no one comes forward, the pigs may eventually be placed up for adoption or cared for by a suitable sanctuary able to provide them with a secure environment.
