A late-night traffic incident yesterday at a West Las Vegas intersection resulted in a pedestrian being hospitalized. As reported by News 3 LV, the collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred near Buffalo Drive and Flamingo Road at around 9:54 p.m.
While details on the pedestrian's condition were not immediately available, they were transported to a local hospital following the crash. The driver, however, remained on scene, and officials have stated that impairment was not a suspected factor in the incident. Consequently, the area around the crash site was expected to be closed for investigation by traffic officers.
Meanwhile, according to FOX5 Vegas, all lanes at the intersection of South Buffalo Drive and West Viking Road were blocked in both directions, as reported by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada following the crash. The blockage added to the disruption caused by the police investigation into the evenings accident.
