A laundromat in Penn Hills became the scene of a fire incident yesterday after multiple clothes dryers caught ablaze. The emergency unfolded on the 2700 block of Robinson Boulevard, a local thoroughfare frequented by residents going about their daily routines.
According to the WPXI report, the Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call just before 2 p.m., with firefighters promptly arriving to confront the smoke and flames. Efforts to extinguish the burning dryers were underway quickly, successfully bringing the fire under control within approximately 20 minutes, an expeditious intervention by the firefighting crews.
Fears of injury were, thankfully, unfounded as officials confirmed that there were no injuries reported in the aftermath of the incident, as detailed by WTAE.
